I just got home from the Lakelands Region Chapter (NJ) picnic. I was invited after I joined National Had a great time met some really nice folks and learned more than I can remember about my 32. A big thank you to all the folks in that chapter they made me, my wife, daughter and granddaughter feel at home. The cars are great but, the people are outstanding.

Hey Bingo Bill,
Lots of us Chevy Chat guys have found it "confusing" (errrr, make that "impossible") when trying to post pictures in here. If that's the case with you also......
You can email a picture(s) to "Big Bob" and he'll do the posting for you. "Big Bob" is sort of our "Resident Photo Posting Expert." He's posted pictures of several guys' cars, including MINE!!!
So, like I said, if you don't figure out how to do it yourself, don't sweat it. Just let "Big Bob" do it for you.......
Bill.

was on the glidden tour last week and the ole 29 chevy got us where we needed to go. half way thru the tour, the starter bendix spring took a crap. only knew one VCCA member on the tour(mike Romano in his beautiful 28). saw mike at lunch(after we'd been clutch starting all morning) and asked mike if he had the spring. he brought it over to the hotel that evening and 15 minutes later i had the 29 starting on its own again. Hey Mike, i need your snail mail address to send ya a couple springs--went into the old napa-type parts store this am and got a half dozen of the springs from a fellow AACA member. belonging to car hobbyist groups pays off many ways. mike

Hey Bill:
Definitely a nice looking '32. But, it seems like "we've" seen that (YOUR) car in this forum previously.
Did you acquire it recently???
Maybe it's just that there's another one 'out there' that looks similar to yours?!?!?!?!?
Or maybe I'm just confused.......

Bill.

bingo bill, The Jersey Lakeland Region are a GREAT group of people. I had the opportunity to sit in at one of their monthly meetings a few years back, and the only thing that kept me from joining was time constraints, but that may change, soon I hope. Their spring car show/flea market in Franklin Lakes is a MUST attend on Memorial Day weekend (Sunday). Bill, being that you are practically just around the corner from me, maybe we can meet up some time. I know our cars are from different eras, but I, like most VCCA people love ALL Chevrolets. By the way Bill, your car is beautiful!!

Hey guys I like my car too Its nice to hear the complements. I think JYD was one of the first people I heard from on the board,(surprise, sirprise). Dawg I think you told me that 2328050 was an engine number not a VIN. I've been looking around and apparently the numbering was different prior to like "34." GM didn't keep track of them. Can anyome shead some light?
