Guys,

I have a 31 Chevy sedan and another non Chevy car (55 Pontiac Convertible). Both sat in storage for over 15 years. Seems I just lost interest in the old cars back in 1989. Put them in the garage and they sat there until 2004. As you can image after sitting for 15 years a ton of things had to be rebuilt and redone before I could get them both running again. Skip Geear(JYD) was a life saver. Without his constant support and guidance both cars would still be sitting in the garage. Besides providing exceptional rebuilding services (he rebuilt my 31-generator, starter and distributor and my 55s starter and generator) he provided tireless support via emails to help me thorough all the things that didn't work. His patience was unbelievable because I asked some of the dumbest questions you could ever imagine.

Everybody on the chat was really helpful but JYD was exceptional.

Seems the JYD knows a lot about GM cars in general. The rebuilt generator and starter he did for my 55 Pontiac came back show quality and functional perfect. Not much difference between 55 Chevy and Pontiac. Wanted to post a photo of the cars but haven't figured that out yet

BIGBOB,

Thanks for the link on how to insert photos. Figured it out and inserted a photo in my original posting.

This is another example of how helpful this site and its memebers are.
