That is a really good story, I wonder how many of those old wrecker men are out there? I know of one, Buryl Wright of Alton Missouri, also a VCCA member. Buryl is almost 85 and still can rig up a 35 year old Chevy wrecker, to haul in an old six cylinder Chevrolet car or truck to restore.

That's the kind of thing I think of when I think of "America - the land of the free and home of the brave."

But, just like the new-comers at the Portland airport area (from an earlier post of mine), the new-comers in Madison County call this guys business a 'cancer' and so on.

They just don't make'm like that any more. Thanks to folks like him we could find parts for our cars. Back in the 60's I made several trips to two junk yards for '31 parts.
