We put one of our long time members to rest today.
Billy Jack Johnson of Denton, Texas passed on from this life Monday morning August 29, 2005. Billy Jack was known at Area and region events where he often drove his 33 Master Sedan to the tour.
His last VCCA tour was The Southern Fall tour last fall in Amarillo, Texas.
Often His wife Jo Ann would drive the 33 and Billy Jack drove the 28 sedan. They never trailered their cars.
This year they drove a modern to attend the Southern Spring Tour this April,in Pittsburg Ks
Billy Jack and Jo Ann made it as far as Miami, Ok. where Billy Jack fell ill and was hospitalized, he was taken back home where he was found to have a brain tumor, he had been treated with Chemo, but died of the tumor.
Billy Jack will be missed by all that knew him. We ask for your prayers for his friends and family.
