Here I go again--I need help. I have completely disassembled my doors for my 32 and need the rubber piece that is on the end of the window regulator (up and down) that keeps the metal from contact with the glass. What little was left on one of the doors was spongy
Can you help me locate this rubber- I have a Steel catalogue and it does not appear to be listed.
Is there a secret to getting the rubber on the shaft (over the large head. Thanks.

Try checking the filling station or i&i reproduction inc.
To put the metal on the glass, you need to measure from one edge of the glass to the edge of the metal channel Hopefully you have safety glass. Put the rubber on the glass then gently tap the channel onto the glass working from one end to the other it will take several times

Hi Paul-just to clarify, but are you talking about the washer or retainer on the regulator ? The shaft fits thru the lower channel and the washer helps to keep it in place when rolling the window? If so I think that part may be leather.Soaking in water will help to stretch it over the shaft.
