Is there any codes or numbers to tell what colors were used in different models ,or how did they determine what they used ? I have never seen any listing like my 31 standard sedan.I have seen gray and brown mohair in these cars and wondered what is proper

Hello Woody,

I have used Hampton Coach for interior fabrics, and kits. If you send them the trim code from your Fisher Body Tag (mounted on firewall), they will send you free samples of the materials used for your car.

Hello again Woody,

It sounds like the "fuzzy cloth" material is Brown Mohair, which was commonly used. I recently completed a 31 deluxe sedan that had a light brown bedford cord interior. As for grey, I would call Hampton and see if they know if grey was offered in 31s. I am fairly confident it was, but again I would check with the experts.

Good luck...
