Still did not receive December G&D.
Did anyone receive theirs on the right coast?
I usually receive it in the first week of the month.

Got my copy here in Oregon on Monday. The G&D should be working it's way towards you via mule as we speak. In case you are not aware, with a mule the post office can get the magazine to you faster than if they used a jet plane! Never could figure that one out though. Ha ha!  laugh laugh laugh

I got mine in the third week of November. Oh but that was the November issue. Seems to be the norm for here. Should have the December issue in time for a stocking stuffer.

Maybe I expected too much. The last 3 or 4 issues arrived by the 3rd of the month.
Any day now..........

It arrived in SE Texas on Monday. Guess those hollow pain you's in the Jack [bleeped] feed helped speed him this a way. Could he have been jet propelled?

Its the same here in ontario canada as dan says - usually get it in the third week of the month. As I remember only once I received before the third week and if it was not 85 degrees out I could have thought it was christmas LOL

Here it is Saturday Dec. 11th and still waiting in Michigan. Last month didn't get it until last week of November. I sent e-mail to Finks regarding this, they sent out 2nd one and I got both November issues within a few days of request, GO FIGURE!

Now, I might have believed the mailman reading the mag before delivering a few years ago. But I don't know any mail person (PC!) that can either read it through the plastic bag or figure how to get it back into a sealed bag after reading. So you guys better come up with another reason that the mail guys (PC?) don't get it on time.

Here on Long Island we get it about 3-4 days after it gets to NJ. There are members in Maine who get it 2 weeks after me. I made a motion this year to the Board to offer a First Class to those members who wish for an additional cost. I hope the Board realizes there is a need for this. I know that after it leaves Fink Printing we are at the mercy of the USPS, BULK RATE. If a member wants to pay more to have a better opportunity at the classifieds then they should be able to. It is very possible that the January issue will be in members hands before the December issue makes it to Maine. As the Board Member for the Northeast this has to be the most common complaint that I receive about the club. I don't know if the First Class Postage is a cure, but at least it is attempt.

I really don't think USPS is the primary problem, but I also don't know what the primary  problem is???

I like ordering online more and more....I ordered a Pertronix Igniter and Flame Thrower coil from Eastwood and got it the second day....UPS.

Then I ordered a "Detroit Iron CD" from Rockauto.com and the mail man brought it the second day it was sent Medi Mail! and drop shipped from Austin, Texas.....I didn't know "Detroit Iron" was in Austin!

bigl

Post Script:
I got the Detroit Iron CD the same day I got the December G & D...ain't RFD great?

Yeah John; 3 or 4 days from Jersey to L.I. is about right for this time of the year!
Hey JYD; maybe your mailman is using those plastic bags as his lunch bags...
