I remember last year someone sponsored a place for VCCA members to meet. I really enjoyed meeting some of the guys that have helped me along the way. Does anyone know if there will be something similar this year. Hershey is only 3 weeks away!!

According to September's G&D,on page 11 you can contact Ken Farley at (703) 642-8436 or e-mail him at kkf163@starpower.net for more information.
You could probably get the spot # from him.

Thanks guys ...I missed that note in my last G&D issue. There's so much there in the G&D. Everyone last year was very friendly and helpful at the Hershey VCCA gathering. I stopped by several times and if someone had seen something that one of us needed they would pass it along. I found a couple of things I needed that way. We even had a specific time that most of us met so we could introduce ourselves.

As a follow-up to this post, Ken Farley and his wife Shirley did a fantastic job setting this up due to some last minute changes, they really were under the gun! We signed up 11 new members on the spot. One from England and another from Puerto Rico. We are putting list of things together for next year to make the set-up a even larger success. We handed out a ton of G&D's and membership forms. The space is on a main isle and real easy to find. This will be our spot from now on. Besides that for me the meet was very productive both parts wise and socially, then again the 75 degree dry sunny weather could even make work fun

This was a great meet this year. Naturally the older parts are becoming less and less prominent, but the people are still the same -- Great!!!

I know that I had a great time and found a few things that needed to call Seattle "home"!!

See ya next year, same time, same bat channel!!

Bill, Next year why don't you drive through Minnesota on your way to Hershey and pick me up? That way you can see where your ancestors came from. laugh laugh laugh

I think I'm a fairly wise person because I'm smart enough to realise I'm not too bright.
