Hi AntiqueMechanic,
Can you tell me the correct capacitance for the buffer caps in model 600153? The Riders schematic shows them as 0.04uF but I have been inside two other virtually identical radios now and they all have 0.013uF.

Assuming you changed the vibrator to solid state, I would use a pair of .01 @ 1600 VAC.

Say, Ray the Radioman, maybe you know about the capacitor in the horn, sinceit too is a vibrator circuit. See Horn in "Electrical - 6 Volt."
