Vent shade installation instructions are very vague...The 1949-52 instructions show placing the edge of the ventshade between the door frame and the channel next to the glass. The center punching holes (using hole in vent shat as a guiide) Drill a 3/32" hole and insert furnished self tapping screw. The last note is to run window up, if window binds spread channel.

Note that the shade should slip up between the channel and door - not next to the glass.

See you Saturday night........ :)
