I need to mount a two post radio antenna on a 39 chev but don't know where to drill.

Chevgene, your info tells me a lot about the antenna and how to drill & connect it but doesn't tell me where to drill. It refers to a template that is not included.

Sorry about that detail......

I checked mine. The antenna was on the car when I purchased it but the location agrees with the factory pictures.

The center of the top hole would be 3 1/2" below the bottom of the belt moulding. The bottom hole center is 6" below that. The hole centers are 2" ahead of the front door edge - measured from the cowl edge - not the door edge.(front of gap).
The 1939 antenna ball is red.

Perfect, with your dimensions I can get the antenna in the stock location. My 39' didn't come with a radio but with your info it will now look original. Thanks again for all your help.
