In 39 there were two options for a Radio ground strap.Iam interested in information for the one from the body to the engine. How long is the ground strap from the engine to the body? What are the two points the ground strap is mounted to?

I am not aware of a ground strap on the 1939. My information specified the first ground strap for the 1940. It was from the "U" clamp to the body on the joint behind the muffler. What is your reference for a 1939 strap?

The 1939 radio installation instructions also do not mention a ground strap.
