the 52 is on the jack stand and the transmission is coming out for a rebuild, next two projects are the master cylinder and a rebuild on the steering gearbox. Can any one tell me how high the front end will have to be lifted to get the steering out from under the car I have plenty of room but may not have enough stuff to lift the car. talk talk talk

After the steering wheel and all parts attached to the column are removed-remove the metal splash guard around the gear.Unbolt from frame-rotate gear - raise and bring forward up into the engine compartment and go forward. Not necessary to remove from under car.

Perhaps its radio controlled steering???

After you have the steering wheel off and the column bare and unbolted from the dash the rest of the job is easy.
