I have an Custom Autosound radio for my 53' Chevy pickup. The knobs are just awful. Is there anyone who makes a set of original looking knobs to fit the split shaft stems on this new radio? I've done internet searching from ideas given to me but so far no luck.

Have you looked into Brother's Trucks or Chevy Duty, on the web... I believe they carry the knobs only...?

Hi FlyinRed7, I bought a set of front fenders from a Chevy guy in the San Fernando Valley in Ca. Along with having many cars he and his sons have a Chevy parts bussiness. Mainly interior knobs of all sorts. He didn't have anything for my 31 but he had a lot of things for the 40-50's cars. I hope that this might help.

Charob also manufactures the 1931-32 knobs that the Filling Station and other dealers sell. yipp laugh laugh laugh

Hi FlyinRed7,

Sorry to say that none of the recommended sources can provide you with knobs. All they reproduce are the OEM knobs and that is NOT what you need. You have two sources for the knobs, contact the maker of your radio or go to the Radio Shack an select something.

This is one of the problems you face when you purchase and use after market non OEM accessories.

How about buying the reproduction O.E. knobs, filling the shaft holes with epoxy or J.B. Weld, then redrilling to fit the shafts of your new "kickin system".
