Hello,

I've posted already posted this question in a couple of other places, so hope folks don't mind it in another. Using my limited gray matter, it dawned on me that this might have been the best section to begin with. Anyway, here it is:

I have the accessory "cat's eye" lighter for the 36 Chevrolet. It is the original marbled gray, with green "eye." Although ussed, it is in very good condition.

Where is this normally mounted on the dash--in this case a 36 standard FC?

Anyone have tips for mounting the lighter? I realized it is flush-mounted and about a 1/4" hole needs to be drilled. I wanted to be sure of the location since I don't take lightly to drilling holes into the original dash.

I've seen the picture in the repro accessories guide, but was wondering there were more exact specifications--for example, 2 inches to the right of the ignition switch and up on inch, or something like that.

Thanks!
