Check out eBay item #1870700691.

So is this really the fabled 1933 Chevrolet Accessory Radio? I always wondered what they looked like. I assume it's a superhet?

If you plug in that number it does lead you to a listing for the 364441 Chevrolet radio.

Yep.....that's definitely the Model 364441 1933 Chevrolet accessory radio. And.......the seller knows what he has too, which on eBay doesn't happen all that often when it comes to vintage Chevrolet stuff. Nice radio! laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

I checked the chart, and it is incorrect for 1932!  laugh laugh laugh

Due to a request from Raymondo, I am editing my posting regarding the above. According to the chart shown in the September 1985 issue of the G&D, the model 364441 radio is listed as being for 1932. Based on several pieces of original Chevrolet literature that was printed when this radio came into service, the model 364441 radio is for 1933, not 1932. This is not an opinion, this is a fact stated by Chevrolet at the time of the introduction of the radio. Also, I don't remember if this information was available or not at the time the chart was published in the G&D, however, the existing literature now makes the 1932 section of the chart incorrect. Okay Raymondo, I hope that clears your concerns up a little. laugh laugh

What is that '33 radio worth? I assume you all are waiting until the last second to jump on it?

Wife says she wants to buy it and put it in the '33 Coach, so she can listen to Rush Limbaugh! and if Junkyard Dog outbids her, she's gonna tell Charlotte about Elvira!

Sorry to tell you but she will not be telling Charlotte anything she does not already know. Now if you want to get the JYD to bid for you and then back out when he has won the radio, that will get him a bit riled. Growling, snapping, biting!!!!

You might contact the antique mechanic and see if he has one and what he wants. That way you will not bid too much.

I like that plan! No way for me to lose! Whaddaya think, JYD? Will you bid on it for me?

I was hoping Ray would voice an opinion on its value here....

Ha ha! Hey Chipper, you are correct! Charlotte already knows everything so no surprises there.

Chevy Guru: I already have three of those 1933 radios and I sure don't need another one. I will bid for you if you want and then you can have it for the bid. What are they worth? Well, some dudes have been selling them for between $300 and $500. And, I have seen them a lot cheaper too. You might want Raymondo to jump in here and give us his opinion on what a complete 364441 radio is worth. laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh
