My '39 Chevy was previously a dump truck and had the usual dump truck wear. The only spot I cannot fix is on the crossmember farthest back on the frame. The bottom of the framerail was pulled downward from people hooking chains on it. I straightened it out the best I could, but It is still noticeable if you climb under the truck and look for it. Also, I am making new wood for the bed because there wasnt any when I got it. Should I paint it as original or varnish it? Lastly, I have the arrow turn signals on the front fenders. I am going to leave them on, but will the judges not like them? Are judges concerned with things like this, or are they more focused on if everything is original the way that the truck came from the factory?
