That is a very cool truck! The item description states: "THE TRUCK WAS USED ONLY ON THE PLANT GROUNDS. IT WAS USED TO HAUL PAPER PRODUCTS FROM BUILDING TO BUILDING. THE TRUCK WAS NEVER REALLY USED ON THE ROADS". If that's true, then why does the truck have 79,930 miles showing on the odometer? Sounds like a lot of miles for just driving around the plant yard from building to building. Must be an awfully big plant!

If someone needed a 2 1/2 ton truck to use in a business you could not buy one for what this one will sell for, plus it would get your business more attention.
Down side would be maybe the limited speed if you had to use it on the highway outside of a city.
What would this truck cruise at on the interstate?

With a stock engine, tranny and rear axle.......about 45 MPH. You can go faster but the engine would be screaming.  :( :( :(

I was thinking, I had seen it on ebay once before, myself. According to the (VIN) ID Plate No., This truck is actually a 1950 Chevrolet 5400 COE. I've got one of those Vac. boosters, on one of my COE's also.
