Spanky boasted about his contact for a '47-55 1st COE fender pad. Never heard anything about it again. I have someone interested in reproducing the pads Spanky !!!. All we need is one !!! a mirrored image is easy to do for the other side. Spanky !! Can you locate the pad or not ?? How much $$ will it take ??? We can't let this one get away Spanky.

Mothertrucker, That NOS fender pad is in Virginia. About a 2 1\2 hr. drive from me. I'll call the guy up , & try again. He was pretty sure he didn't want to sell it right now, I'll see if I can get him to put a price on it, and we'll have to go from their. You better believe I tried to buy it, first one of those babies I'd ever seen NOS. This guy does the majority of his selling on Ebay. Spanky Hardy .......Collector Of Fine Old G.M. COE Trucks.

Oh Yea MOTHERTRUCKER, Forgot to tell ya, I've got an original driver side COE floor mat, has G.M. prt. no. stamped on it. Only problem is, it's in 8 pieces. Do you know of someone that can reproduce these. It's an orig., not the generic reproduction mat that's out their. Spanky Hardy.........Collector Of Fine Old G.M. COE Trucks.

Spanky, Dale Miller from down your way did the 1935 car mats in the 80's. I don't know if he is still with us or if he can help.

Have you tried Jim Carter or Steele Rubber to see if they can help?

Steel made the hood corners for the '35 Masters from NOS copies I loaned him in the early 80's.

MIKE, Thanks for the info., how do I contact Mr. Miller. Us Advance Design COE guys really do need help when it comes to rubber parts. Jim Carter has some generic floor mats, but they're nothing like the originals. Spanky Hardy........Collector Of Fine Old G.M. COE Trucks & Antique Holmes Wreckers.

Spanky,

Dale Miller was in Hickory, NC (is this close to you?) last I heard....it's been a LONG time since we talked, don't know if he is still there.

I would talk to Steele to see if they would reproduce them for you...that's their business!

Okay COE owners, I just yesterday purchased a NOS '47-'54 G.M. COE left Fender Pad. Mothetrucker & myself have been trying to find someone that might can reproduce these Bad Boys. Anyone else have any ideas. I also have a factory orig. COE floormat complete but in 8 pieces. Any ideas on how I can have this thing reproduced, or put back together. Mike Boteler was telling me about one guy that might be able to help me with the floormat, but I haven't located him yet. Spanky Hardy .....Collector Of Fine Old G.M. COE Trucks.

Mothertrucker, I'll be waiting, on them PIC.s. Oh yeah, while I'm thinking about it, do you have any of the Guide Fog lights that use the switch that's similar in apearance to the heat switch. Spanky Hardy........Collector Of Fine Old G.M. COE Trucks & Antique Holmes Wreckers.

MOTHERTRUCKER! Slap them pics. on that webshots site you use (MT101). I can see them their. I left Jim Carter a message on Feb. 14 , (ask Jim forum) he still hasn't responded. I haven't been able to locate the guy from Raleigh either about the fender pad. I probably won't be able to find him until April, he always comes to our ATHS truck show . In the mean time the fender pad is right here on my desk.
