This is in response to a posting i submitted a few weeks ago. After reading all your information and advice I contacted Dick Morgan (612-869-4645)and discussed the window. I purchased one from him.The outside frame is highly polished aluminum. It appeares to be an exact reproduction. The wood section is wider than the original pattern I have. ( see his ad in the Dec. G & D , pg. 36). If you want to see pictures just type in www.geocities.com/skihorse10/32chevy.html

Thanks again for all your help !
p.s. the original posting was from (car),im his son in law " helpin out "

I didn't see any logo on the window. Wasn't a logo impressed into the middle of the frame like the 1931 frame?

Hey Chipper Dipper. On the logo, are you talking about the location being on the inside of the frame?

No the 1931 frame has a Johnson logo impressed into the bottom center of the die-cast outer. Since it is a similar construction as the 1932 I wondered if it also was manufactured by Johnson and had the logo?

My original 1932 cabriolet die-cast rear window frame has no such logo on the outside. :( :( :(
