Dupie: I met a guy at a local car show recently that retired many years ago from GM. He was a trainer for Fisher Body for 30+ years as I understood it. Anyway, he looked over Old Blue (37 1/2 ton) and one of his comments was that it needed rubber windlace for the doors. It has the vinyl now. I want to research this more, but I had the impression he knew what he was talking about. 37Blue

Dupie e-mail WaltD at wdavenport@ameritech.net he has a restored trophy winning 37 1/2 ton pickup and knowing Walt it is done correctly. He might be at the National meet but he will be back!
34 & 35 trucks are the greatest. 36 high cabs are OK too.

The 37 Door gasket was thin brown fabric with rubber piping in middle and rubber only at lower.

Dupie, When Lou weighs in on '37 truck stuff, You can pretty much take it to the bank. He's the MAN when it comes to this subject. Mike
