Jim,
The tools included in '28 Chevrolets are published in the Canadian 1928 Chevrolet Owners Manual. Listed are: "... one starting crank; one spark plug wrench; one auto jack; one auto jack and demountable rim nut wrench, combination handle; one hand tire pump; one hub cap wrench; one ten ounce hammer; one adjustable auto wrench; one pair 6" combination pliers; one 8" screwdriver; one grease gun; one wrench No. 27; ...

I have never seen an official reference to a tool bag for the late 20s and early 30s Chevrolets. I know that many assume that a bag was supplied as they were supplied in the teens and 40s and later.

Hi Jim. I saw this and thought you might want to take a look. He has some things you might be interested in???? I don't know what is a good price on this stuff...

Sometimes stuff on Ebay can be a ripoff so check prices before you buy anything wink Good luck at the national meet! Got any pictures of your '28???

Since Jim's truck is a bread truck built on a passenger car chassis it would have the passenger/ 1/2 ton tools and jack.

Chipper, this is all still a new to me. I have to disagree once again. We have a wheal from a 1928 car and the spokes are larger on the truck than the car so I would conclude that the tools shoud be for the truck. Thanks for your help....Jim

To be technically correct the wheels for the AB 1/2 ton truck and AB passenger cars are not the same. The 1/2 ton wheels have larger spokes. But the wheels of both are vastly different as is the chassis, springs, axles from those of the LO or LP 1 ton truck (more commonly though of when the word truck is used). If you get the jack for the 1 ton truck you will be dissapointed. If you get the tools and jack for the passenger it will also be correct for the 1/2 ton truck as the tools for all AB models are the same.
