I have a friend who has what he thinks is a Hercules bodied 1928 Series AB truck, he has plans to restore this after he completes his two 35 pickups. Somewhere along the line the doors and window openings above the beltline have been cut off, he is looking for information on dimensions and possibly photos of the correct doors. Any information will be appreciated. Friend is a member of VCCA but is not a fan of computers. talk talk

The book "75 years of Chevrolet" by George H. Dammann published by Crestline Motorbooks International ISBN 0-87938-692-4 has several pictures of the National AB Series Hercules body. What is your friend doing with the 35 pickups; rods or original?

34 & 35 trucks are the greatest. 36 high cabs are OK too.

One is box stock, he is using the best of the parts of the two on the restoration. The other will be a slightly modified version something like an early 50s rod, no chopping or cutting. talk talk
