Hello --
I have a 1930 Chevrolet 1-1/2 ton truck. I just found two data plates for a 1929 (with weight, model, etc.)
Can anyone out there tell me where they were placed originally? Each has four little holes -- were they tacked to the wood somewhere?
Thank you.

My 29 had the plate tacked on right front of seat riser about 2" off floor.
