Hi all,

I just wanted to let you all know I posted an update on my web site detailing the restoration of my 1959 Chevrolet Apache 32 pickup.

This latest report includes pictures of the reassembly of the front end and the installation of various 235-engine components. Here is a link to the latest report:

By what I see "professional perfection" goes close to describing that work.

WOW!!!

It is great to see another 59 being resurrected to true stock. Outstanding work! And, the story behind it makes it even more of a huge success. You should be proud of this project The rebuild on mine(which, in no way, is as complete as yours) was some of the most fun I've had and seeing those pictures bring it back. The 235 is one of the easiest engines to understand, repair and tweak I am told. For a non-mechanic guy like me, that was a real help.

Keep us posted on your progress. Do you have an expected complete date?

Jim

Hi all,

First, to everyone, thanks for all of the nice comments.

Jim: I am not sure when we will finally get it completed. We have a long way to go yet. We would love to have it ready for the Labor Day car show held at our local fairgrounds. If not, its ok as there will always be plenty of other shows to take it to. I mostly just can't wait to get in it and head down the road!

Gator: I just love the color too! Thanks!

When we get a bit farther along, I will post another update.

Stay safe!
