I just came across a original potters trunk for a 1932 chevy. in the attic of a friends. I told him I would buy it but I would like to know what would be a fair price. I don't want to jip the guy. if any of you have any ideas please let me know. Thank you.

The price range varies depending upon the condition of the trunk. Usually, the Potter coupe type of trunk sells for between $600 and $1,300. I witnessed a "junker" (needed a new bottom and two new sides) sell for $800! I have also seen a few "sleepers" sell cheaper.
