I told him I would buy it but I would like to know what would be a fair price. I don't want to jip the guy. if any of you have any ideas please let me know. Thank you.

Usually, the Potter coupe type of trunk sells for between $600 and $1,300. I witnessed a "junker" (needed a new bottom and two new sides) sell for $800!
