I've seen both short and tall air-cleaners in photos... here is a tall one on E-Bay: 1937 37 1938 38 Chevrolet Chevy Air Cleaner Anyone know which one is correct for '37 1/2 ton?

The tall air cleaner is for a passenger car.The dry type truck is very low.The optional oil bath for a truck is about medium heigth.I believe that I have a used one if intrested. There is a picture of one in my 1939 shop manual. The pictures lists it as being for cars with govorners and all trucks.Check your '37 manual for a picuure of it.('37-'39 the same).

Thanks Chevgene, I was interested... so I appreciate that you checked.
I have a short one that came with the "truck", which was mostly several piles of parts.
