Hi guys.

I've posted a want ad for a '37 1/2 Ton Front Spring, Rear Hanger under "Parts Wanted", but need some interchange help...

 Does anyone know what range of years will fit my '37 1/2 ton?

 Is the same part used on cars and larger trucks also?

It has either a part or casting number engraved in it: 593937.

Grumpy, sounds good, Old N.J (he may not be old) must have quite a lot of stuff stashed out there in the Wild West, Maybe I need to go for a visit!

Mr Mack: I think NJ has or knows of a barn full of stuff, and I know he has a heart of gold! I might get to see him this summer bigl I can see where the cast iron has been pushed around by the bolt head (you can slightly see the ring around the bolt head area in the photo), and by the spring in the clevis area. Usually cast iron is brittle, but this stuff looks pretty tough, maybe I'll look into the metallurgy some day.

Heck, I don't need to worry about that since they don't put dogs in jail anyway..........they send mutts to the dog pound instead! Besides, I just found out that dogs don't have to file that stupid income tax thingy anyway! yipp dance
