Hey guys

I am attempting to remove the gas tank from my 1951 2 ton flat bed.

AT the bottom of the tank is a T-valve.

There is a hole in the bottom of the cab, however it does not appear large enough in diameter to get the valve through, to remove the tank.

I am assuming the T-valve is brazen on the tank.
Before I get a bigger hammer and damage the T-valve and tank!!!!

Does anyone have any suggestions in getting tank and t-valve removed from the cab without breaking off the t-valve of drilling a biger hole.

The T-Valve does have a nut on the end where the turn piece opens and closes the valve.

I would appreciate any suggestions

Bill T

The valves and fittings are screwed into the tank.

On my 50 6400 the T-valve just unscrewed.
Make sure you slosh it around after you remove the valve as there may be more fuel held in by the fitting.A 5 gallon bucket worked good under the hole.
