OP 53bel-air Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: Jul 2002 Posts: 142 cadott,wisconsin	i have a (hood question)On the 54,55 chev truck hood,on the 1/2 ton the front hood part is 19 3/4" long & is 4 1/4" high,,,,,,,I have a front hood emblem,,It is 21" long and 5" high,,,is this for a bigger truck??? also did Chevy make different hood emblems for 54 and 55,,,,Or did they make the same hood piece for both years???? I hope i don't confuse anybody,,,53bel-air Hee-Haw

Chev Nut ChatMaster - 25,000 Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 30,701 Likes: 141 West Allis,Wi.	There are three hood front emblems listed for those trucks.One for 1/2 thru 1 tons,One for 1 1/2 and 2 tons, and one for COE"s.Have no demensions but sure the first will be the smallest Gene Schneider

Mothertrucker ChatMaster - 750 Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 800 Rust Free Arizona VCCA#37127	The larger emblem you have is for 1 1/2 & 2 ton conventional models. No difference in front hood badges between 54 & 55 1st. The side hood emblems were way different between 54 & 55 1st.
