Hi everybody,
This is my first post on the VCCA site. I have a 53 3100 that I am attempting to restore back to original. I am sure some of you out there have and know what the original jack for AD Trucks looks like. I may have access to one in my area. However, I don't know what they look like. I would really appreciate someone taking time to email a picture of one to me. Or, share with me where I may find a picture on this site or the web. I suppose I need the lug wrench also. Any advise on that would really help also.
Thank you in advance for all of your time and efforts.
Its nice to one board with all of you. What a resource for restoring your old Chevrolet car or truck.

Rugo, Welcome aboard. I started a discussion on this exact topic a few months back. You can read that discussion at AD Jack .

Jeff and Jim:
Thank you for your help. However, unless I missed something in the posts and links, I don't really think we have figured out anything. So the mystery continues. Somebody out there has to have the correct jack and could post a picture of it. Or know where to find a picture of it. It is odd that this is so hard to track down. I am a member of the Stovebolt page also. I did see the same link on there about the AD jack. The description of it that I have gotten so far did not resemble that picture either.
Again thank you very much for help and guidance with this endeavor. I really appreciate it.

OK, Try reading this post. Still not what you really need, but more information about jacks. I will keep trying. I found a picture listed before, but it is gone or unavailable. StoveBolt Original Jack?

Jim:
I really appreciate your help with this. You seem to be a pretty good guy to have on my side. You no doubt have many more resources for this. I am trying at my end also, and will let you know if I find anything out. I will keep watching for more posts on this subject from other people on this site. There has to more people out there that would like to know what they are looking for, when looking for the jack and lug wrench.
Thanks again.

Rugo. If you can, please post pictures of your restored 216 motor here. I am sure all the VCCA guys will enjoy them.
