I have just been informed of the passing of an icon in the old Chevy parts business & fellow V.C.C.A. member. Mr. Ray Vasquez of Classic Auto Parts in L.A. Calif. passed away in his sleep yesterday. Ray was a top notch collector of old Chevrolet parts & he even reproduced some parts that were impossible for us restorers to find. Ray was a virtual encyclopedia of old Chevy information. Ray will be missed greatly & a big chunk of our hobby has been removed. Our thoughts go out to Rays family & friends.
