Right, here goes! Does anyone have a 1929 and 1930 set of Canadian Parts Books please? I know that the truck version show truck serials for Walkerville and Regina in 1929, and the Heavy Duty serials from June 1930. However I am trying to lay to bed once and for all whether CARS [Cheby and Pontiac/Oakland] were ever assembled in Walkerville in 1929 and 1930. I am convinced that GM of C are wrong when they say that Walkerville assembled cars in 1929 MY, and that Oshawa had that job. However the same cannot be said for 1930 MY. I know all the Regina serials and dates [I have them in my soon to be published history of the Regina Plant], but despite years of research and study of genuine 1930 Canadian cars I am none-the-wiser. The body plates say OSHAWA WALKERVILLE REGINA for all Chevrolets in those years. I am hoping that somewhere there is a note that serials ran ... to ..for ...plant and ...to .... for Regina though I know them anyway. David Hayward
