May I suggest that the goals be stated at the beginning if each Board (discussion)
"The Vintage Chevrolet Club of America invites you to share our enthusiasm and dedication to the preservation and restoration of Chevrolets and to enjoy the fellowship of its members through national and regional activities."
Maybe not in as many words but with dignity and without putting down of other points of view
I know it is stated on the VCCA homepage but when someone is wanting to ask a question they are going to come straight to the chat room and may not take time to read the homepage.
Many people love those "old chevies" and don't know the difference between stock, custom, hotrods,streetrods or modified. I feel It would be a shame to turn them into F0RD fans (or not offer their extra parts here) because of an off hand remark about there pride and joy that they are working on!
Please understand I'm not trying to change the goals of the VCCA just trying to improve this great site
