No one is making a reproduction 1929-30 radiator shell. You actually have two options. If your shell is restorable then you should get it repaired. The other option is to find a better one and then have that one repaired and replated. I had the same problem with the shell on my 1930 Sport Coupe. I went through about 5 shells and then I found one that I could live with...but it too needed lots of repairs. It sent it to Master Plating in San Diego, California and I got a Rolls Royce shell back both in quality in the plating, and craftsmanship in the repair. My shell is now absolutely beautiful! laugh :) laugh laugh laugh

rs50, I have a shell that needs work, is cracked at rivets, has small dents but may be better than the one you have. <aeba38@yahoo.com>

Sure, glad to help out! Master Plating does some fabulous work....but they are kind of spendy too. However, I learned years ago to never take anything of value to my local plating shop. Good luck!   laugh laugh

junkyard dog. Most plating shops are spendy and I know what you mean about local shops

rs50, please send me an e-mail address for your photos, I also have a steel shell with no cracks and fewer dents than the plated shell.
