I certainly hate to gripe, but, the automatic music that starts up when I log in is annoying. On my machine, connected through DSL, the music comes in short bursts, ties up the machine while it loads, and make the scrolling very jumpy.

Look over there at the volume do-hicky on the tool bar. Click on it and check on the MUTE button! No MO surprise MOOSICK that makes you jump over the keyboard! Ha! Ha!!

If you've been following this "moosic activity" for the past 3 or 4 nights, you might know that this has been an ongoing experimental labor of love. chevy :cool2:

I think to be democratic you should have posted a poll to see who really likes the music and who does'nt the board belongs to all members not just one person who wants to play around on his computer. togo

Well...I uncovered Klinkerbelle, she was still ready to fire up... then I backed the Betsy the 68 out and let Bluebelle the 53 down (on top of the lift) and I am 'afixin' to install the generator on Bluebelle I had overhauled in Arlington last month. I am 'awaitin' for the shop to warm up from 48 degrees.
First, I am going to have a honey bun and a cup of Joe.

I like it. So do the grandkids. dance Going to take the rods off the crankshaft I set up while it was hanging between 2 barrels and get ready to put motor back together. The paint and other parts should be here any day now. auto

Great Bill! It doesn't start unless I tell it too.

Done for my Chevy? Its still all about the brakes, except the starter conked out too.

I think taking the time to IMPROVE, or add alittle SURPRISE, to spice up this board is hardly "One person who wants to play around on his computer" Im sure putting this GREAT music on the board took some work. Bill even has the on - Off controls now. So if you dont want to hear it, just dont turn it on. I feel thats pretty democratic. Dont you?

One of my cats chewed the speaker cables off, so I have had no sound for a couple of years. Is the music the reason I kept getting a request for authorizarion that appeared when I tried to access this site last night? As I had not requested anything, I punched the "Do Not Agree" button and my computer hung up and I had to reboot. I thought it was some kind of virus.

The music is great Bill. I hope you continue in to the 40's and 50's. And it was a shock at 5:30 am. the first morning it was on. It did get my eyes open though. Great job.

Yep, I can see where this Banjo music Is coming from as Billy Boy Bill Barker Is the Talented and president of the Seattle Banjo club. He has many talents, But I hope someday he finds time to finish his cars. They seem to be taking a back seat to all the mind boggling projects he Is Involved with. I think he Is getting very close to playing the Banjo with his feet while he works on perfecting the chat site. chevy

Banjo Eh? I thought it was a synthesizer , You know one of them electronic moosick makers, keyboard thingies. My wife has a Lowery Tennie Jeanie organ that is nice to play around with. I do good to play a Victrola....

Great work on the music, Bill!!!

Keep adding it to more categories as your time permits.

Seems like it's best to have it 'optional' with the 'control bar.' As far as I'm concerned you can have it 'on' all the time and then at our discretion we can put it on 'pause' or 'stop.'

Thanks for adding it. It's definitely a fun addition to the site!!!

Hey Bill Barker,

Good going on the music. It is a real nice touch! How about some Glenn Miller for the 37-42 forum? :)

Hey Mackie Wacky. Maybe you should take Banjo lessons so you and Billy Boy Bill Barker can entertain everyone on the tours In july In Colorado. Maybe you could get really good and have your music on the chat site. chevy

The music is ok, but it could be a problem for people who "surf" at work... like when you don't know it's coming...

Donald, with me it would take more than practice...like some talent? I probably could make a banjo sound like Chipper's bugleing!

Maybe Billy Boy Bill Barker could get thirty seconds of Chipper Dipper blowing his horn and then recording It on the chat site. The only problem with that Is, The sound coming out of the Bugle would probably blow the chat site out of the computer. Mackie Wacky, From what I have heard, I bet the sound coming out of his bugle really sounds good from a mile away. chevy
