Me and JYD have been talking for a while about how stupid Boyd Coddington is and his TV show "American Hotrod". He is always cutting up nice cars and doing things in crappy ways. Maybe the VCCA could make a TV program showing a restoration (to original) on a Chevrolet vehicle. I think the show would interest a lot of people. The only TV shows involving cars are about street rods except for that one on DIY, but that show really isnt about accuracy or perfection. I don't know what the budjet is for the VCCA, but if you have enough money, the TV show would be an excellent venture.

If we did have a show like that we would be way over budget, because with JYD would either bite the camera people, or break the camera. bigl

Together we can do anything. The impossible just takes longer.

Bob, to figure the budget pretty close, just figure what a good magazine costs for 12 issues mailed to your house, $30 less that cost multiplyed by 8,000 (not all the members pay $30 each year, there are some life members that don't pay after they pay for the life memberships) ...that is what the club basically has to work with for all the National expenses. Not a really biggie amount, is it?

Ya....the old mutt would probably bite a camera man or take out the camera all right. But, if the show starred someone like Catherine Bell from JAG, then she probably wouldn't have any problems keeping the mangy old mutt in line. Bow Wow!!!!!  laugh laugh laugh

I just think it's a little disloyal of the dog to mention some other woman ahead of the mistress of the dark...

First of all, with all the nice people in the VCCA, where would you ever find a crew that constantly had personality conflicts, had poor work ethics, always complained and did work that consisted of restoration & preservation, instead of bastardizing vintage cars ??

Seems like all the "reality" shows draw viewers because the participants are dysfunctional, which makes the viewers lives seem normal in comparison.

Good point Bowtie Bob! There is no way a VCCA TV show could be like American Hot Rod because we have all of the good guys and the Coddingtion show deals mainly with dysfunctional morons.

Right on JYD and B.T O.,.... VCCA would be too tame and civilized for the "New TV"...I think it means Trivial Violance! I would change that to Take a Vacation, in Your Chevrolet!
