Well people I have been on the site since last fall when I got my first 31 coup. I have greatly benefited from the information I have gotten here. It wasn't until I met up with Jim down in his home town Beavercreek when I had been getting a free ride!!! I told Jim that I never got my magazine. He advised me to call the VCCA to get it. Once I called I was surprised to find out that they had no record of my membership. I gave them my ID Number...no good. Once she told me that I didn't pay on-line because they didn't have that option yet the BIG BRICK FELL!!!!! I thought I paid but didn't. Since then I asked for a application and have sent in my check.
RECOMMENDATION!!!! I think it is great anyone can get in and see how great this site is on helping each other on these old jalopies. I am a believer that all should pay to keep gaining from this information. I was getting lots of help and could have gone forever without paying. I would recommend you let people in and see the beneifits but after a certain amount of time he/she should be required to join and become a paying member to continue. I appolgize for me fore I thought I had paid but didn't. For that I am sorry. But I will be a paying member here on out..........I THANK YOU ALL. Shocks

I think it would be great if someone could get on the chat for a trial run. Say five times. It would indicate to a person what great information is available to members. I think a totally free access is not right. We should all help pay the cost. You can't hardly purchase any part for a car for the little amount a membership cost. What's the big deal?

Good discussion. (I'm listening and programming at the same time... but I probably won't have any of the changes ready to test for a couple more months.) Note: In programmer's lingo, a "couple of months" could be anything from 60 days to 600 days!!

I tend to agree with Shock's.When i found ol Maxine ( 1928 2dr coach ),i stumbled across this site.I was overwelmed and gratious for all the help and information that all you experts have given out !!! I joined the VCCA within a month and enjoy all the bennies that VCCA has to offer.I agree that limiting the site would increase membership but what would stop anyone from coming on and on under different screen names?
isn't 28 great

Glad you're in Shocks. I should have given you an application when you were at the house but didn't realize you weren't a member. See you down the back roads. Jim
