hey guy's,I havent been on the site for awhile.Been busy restoring the 28 when the wife lets me! mad I gave up looking for a wiper motor for a 1928 AB,so I located a vaccum motor for a 1929.It works just fine and i want to install it on my 28.Does anyone have a sketch or layout of how the wiper motor was installed on a 29.I have everything related that i need.Vaccum Motor,valve rod and knob, stanchion for interior header,and even the original wiper blade i beleive! :p Any info would be greatly apreciated or possibly a parts photo.I was hoping not to purchase a manual for a 29.thnx much. auto

Paul, Do you have a drawing or any idea how the wiper was mounted on the 28? I found a picture of a bracket that is about one half of a semi-circle that screws to the header with three screws and has two holes to mount the horns on the wiper motor. I just made a pattern of the three holes on the header and then adjusted the motor to fit the bracket. (I used a motor off of a Ford Model A) and turned it upside down so the hose barb would be on the right side.

Mr Mack,The only info i have for the 28 is a pic of the wiper motor.im not even sure if the 28 have a lever on a slide valve like the 29 has.I'm basicly starting from scratch.

28 & Mack,
The '28 wiper motor and '29 motor are similar. Neither has a switch on the motor but use a needle valve on the dash. The valves are different. The '31 motor and Model A wiper motors have switches on the motor.
