I know its me but I still have a very hard time figuring out how to post a message "add new topic" suggests to me this is where I would click if I wanted to add a new subject heading that is not listed. once I find the window to type in the message - I type it in and can't figure out how to "send" it - like e-mail I am looking for the "send" button - or maybe "post" but I think most folks are more familer with a "send" button. - as you can see I still haven't been able to post the message where I tried to - this is only a suggestion - all and all this is still a very cool site
(now where is that send button)

Hi Steve,

Are you looking for the NEW TOPIC button? This is used when creating a NEW POST. Down and to the left.

The POST REPLY button is used when adding on the a current post. Down and to the left.

When you are done you hit the ADD REPLY button which is below your text message.

How about if I change the wording on the two buttons??

New Topic -> New Subject?
and
Post Reply -> Reply Now?

Okay... still thinking.... If I make any change, then I need to change text and some graphics... so it might take a while... let me print out the pages and I'll go look at some other forums...

Good brainstorming!!! :)

Hi Bill, nice job on the forum, somehow I knew they would find a way to get you into the soup. Great start on a good forum.

Thanks again for the assist on the Viking cap it will make a great mould for a new base.

Okay Kirk. But I need to let you know that I was happy that you didn't want me to find a bigger part for you while I was at Hershey... my suitcase just barely had room for the Viking!!

Don't even know if I could have found room for a second one....! :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

It can't get much simpler than "new topic" & "post reply". My vote says don't change 'em.

I agree with Dave. Leave it the way it is. Simple is better.
