Hellow all!

Im trying to find a phone number or E-Mail address for a supplier by the name of Jim Osborn. The toolman tells me he has the correct decals for AC Oil filter canisters but he has no way to contact him only sees him a shows & meets.
Any help would be appricated.

Hey Sparky......his name is "Kepi" not "Epi". The "OK" icon in front of "epi" represents the letter "K" to complete is first name. wink laugh laugh laugh

Well, you're pretty close JYD.

The "OK" Chevy sign combined with "epi" actually represents the sound the girls make when he comes around.

The gals go "O Kepi!!!"

Now that's TRUE man. No jive!!!

Hey Sparky,

So who are you gonna call.....

Jim Osborn......

Or, Chev's of the 40's (Ron Wade's business).......

Or, the Filling Station.

I'm quite certain the latter two have what you're looking for. In fact I think you can check that on-line at their web sites. I don't know about "Jim Osborn."

42Bill,

The toolman says that Jim Osborn has the correct Decals for a L-4 & L-1 AC oil filter. From what I have read on this site the other vendors that sell them are not the correct color. Will post what I find out.

The web site that Kepi shows does not appear to have been updated since 1998?

Well Sparky, here's another perfect example of what happens (to some of us) as we get older.

I often see Ron Wade (Chev's of the 40's) on Wednesday's at "PIR" here in Portland. Monster cruise-in this week. Likely over 600 cars. Anyway, I did visit with him quite a bit out there just last night. I had intended (if I saw him) to ask him about this decal 'situation.'

Well, we all know how that went.....

Sorry, I completely forgot.

What the heck, why don't you just call either or both (CO40's & FS) and ask them about it. Believe me, neither of them needs to sell a decal or two so bad that they wouldn't give you a straight answer.

Sorry I havent got back sooner but my wife & I were in a auto accident & she had to go thru 7hrs of back surgery. I did do a search for Jim Osborn, to get there I had to do a Google search under (Jim Osborn reproductions.com) and yes he does have a on site catolgue. No pictures just listings. I have ordered a catolgue & when I receive it I will post what I find. I have not seen Chevs of the 40s or the Filling Stations Decals but the Toolman says they are incorrect & as what has been posted in past post the Toolman has did a lot of research in this area so I would feel that he is correct. I have a NOS L-4 so when I see what they have to offer Iwill know for sure.

Hey Sparky,

Never a need to apologize in here - at least not to me. Lots of other things in our lives besides CC.

And in YOUR case, VERY sorry to hear about the auto accident. Gosh, hope you and your wife are recovering OK.

Keep us posted.

I'm sure "we're" all thinking about you.....

Kepi - 42 Bill,

I appricate your concern. Kepi your link was to a old site but I did a Google search & found a current one. He has a lot of interesting items listed decals, tags, books ect. I will let you know more when I receive my catolgue.

Jim Osborn reproductions does indeed sell decals. I dealt with him many years ago on Mopar decals. I had an NOS headlight door opening instruction decal for Chrysler and wanted one for Charger that was not reproduced at that time. I sent him my deacal with instructions that arroe went opposite direction and color was yellow instead of white and he made me up several and gave them to me. Very nice guy to deal with.

Finally got my catolgue from Jim Osburn but it was all in black & white so I still don't know for sure if they are correct or not. I ordered the decals & will post what they are like when I receive them. His prices are very reasonable & has a vast selection.

Hellow All,

Received my decals from Jim Osborn and was very pleased. They are not 100% correct when you place them side by side but if you were to place them 3' apart you would not know they were different. Colors are ezact as original. Lettering size is the only difference that I can see but as I said 3' apart and you would not know.

Im glad that I found this quality vendor.
