I don't know if it has been mentioned here before but there is one part supplier that is head and shoulders above most of the others. Lonny Ekstrand is a valuable VCCA asset. As owner of Stanley's Parts, 210 Center Lane, Ft. Worth, TX 76140-9500 (817-478-7265 and the owner of a 1930 Coach and '63 Chevy II. He specializes in reproducing hard to find parts for 1923 to 1932 Chevys. If he can find an economical way to make a part he will get it done. I am aware of several projects that he is working on that in the short term future will add more parts to those available from all the repro part suppliers as he supplies all of them. He also sells a few direct. Without dedicated people like Lonny restoration of our older Chevys would be much more difficult.

Durn it Chipper, You just had to let the cat out of the bag about Stanley's parts. Here it wuz that old Macky Wacky had a secret supplier of good old Texas and Chinese parts for my 1928 and you went and let the rest of the world in on it. Now we will have to wait till the G&D gets here before we can get ahold of old Lonnie, since he will be filling all of those Left Coast and Right Coast orders. He probably won't have time to deliver parts out here to me in the boonies of Comanche County any more! what other thing can you messup, on second thought don't tell me I am afraid to know!!!I guess I am going to have to have Mancuso give you 'atalkin'to!

The old mutt has been dealing with Lonnie at Stanley's Parts for years. And, the Filling Station has been buying his products for many years too, so he is no secret to us dudes on the Left Coast. As a matter of fact, Lonnie and I have worked together several times in the past on getting various parts made. So...........where have you been while all of this has been going on Mackus Wackus? ha ha!

  laugh laugh laugh

Thanks for the news, JYD, guess there isn't any way to keep anything secret around here!
Lonnie does seem to really care and he works to get you the right parts even though sometimes w aren't sure what we really need.
Chipper is 100% right on this deal, now if he could just get some good bugeling training!
