I'm going to restore a -28 with wood wheel. The body are blue, and on the wheel hub I can find some blue color to.
Is this correct, or are black correct?
I have sandblasted the frame, and all over the was a orange color primer. Is this the orginal primer?
The frame was in exceptionally good shape with no rust, so the primer most be very good. Her is some pictures

You didn't ask, but spokes were also painted black until 1928, and they were natural.

Hi RAY.
I was quite sure the spokes was natural in 1928.
Today I have removed all 48 spokes from the iron, and on some of the front wheel spokes the clear lacquer from the factory still was there.
