Prototype? Built for an auto show? Not likely to have survived. Sure looks cramped to me.

Hi Chris
This same photo first appeared in Dammann's 60 years of Chevrolet book.It appears to be a product of some unknown accessory firm. One company that could had offered this aftermarket hard top was the Limousine Topp Co in Kalamazoo who made the Deluxe Demountable Limousine Tops for roadsters.

I agree. Note the difference in shade between the body and the top. This appears to be an accessory top added to a standard Royal Mail.
