What would be a fair price and where should I look? NAPA has the wheel bearings and they are checking to see if they can find the king pins. However, the wheel bearings are not cheap.
How difficult is it to replace the king pins?

NAPA is vey expensive for the ball bearings. The outter fits from 1925 -1960, inner 1925-1940. The Filling Station has the outters for $30.00 and the inners for $50.00.They have the king pins for $39.50.King pins not difficult to install except the bushings require reaming after they are installed.Could be done at a machine shop.

Any idea what brand the Filling Station sells? I paid a lot for mine from the local bearing house. I bought Federal Mogul brand.

No -but give them a call, they are very friendly and helpful..I buy spares at swap meets etc. when I find a good price. Two years ago while in Vermont on a 6 Cyl Tour I lent my spare to a guy with a '37.....he went to NAPA and ordered one (an outter) to replace mine.If I remember correctly he paid something like $75.00 for it and its an "import".
