Betsy needs a paint job. Her old paint is chipping. What should I look for in a paint shop? Are there any special requirements? Betsy is a 28 national sedan.

Hi Betsy. It's nice to see another '28 in North Carolina. I travel through the Colfax area from time to time on good ol' I-40. I'm no expert by any means, but I would say the most important thing is to find a paint and body man (or woman) that appreciates old cars...You want to find one that will take the time to do it right. You also want to find one that has a good modern clean spray booth and an experienced man behind the spray gun. I use Myers Body Shop in Brevard, North Carolina. They do good work. If that's not too far out of your way, give them a call and talk it over with Dean (he owns the place). The number is (828)884-2275. Let us know if you find another good one around.
