I know that the **** Modle A engine rebuilds often include milling excessive weight off the flywheel and adding balancing weights to the crankshaft because of a design flaw. Apparently the rear main bearing was natorious for excessive wear and seal leakage due to too much flywheel weight and crankshaft not being balanced.
Question: Is there a similiar problem with the 1928 Four and if so, does anyone know of a rebuilder that does this work? I know the 1928 Four creates a lot of vibration that this would smooth out. Thanks, Maxie.
