Hi All

I know there are posts below but I thought the correct plug for a 28 four cylinder was an AC spark plug. Can anyone out there tell me what the CORRECT original spark plug was for the 28 and what is a suitable service replacement for this plug. I am currently using an AC C-77 plug. Is this a good "modern" plug ? Please educate me !!!!
thanks

Correct plug for the 1928 would be the old type AC 78S. The AC C-77 is an acceptable substitute.

The AC 78S plugs sell at a premium price.

There are several plugs that can be used, to include modern plugs with an adaptor that is available.

Actually the AC 78S is a replacement plug for the original AC Z plug.

That is a Z plug with a Z on the box but not on the plug. But remember the early 1928 engines came from the factory with the B on the box but not on the plug.
