Hi, dad's asked me to post this request- as he's a PC novice!.
"I need to know where I can get a wiring harness for 1926 Chevrolet model K 4dr - car No 21V 85856. According to the Chevrolet master parts & price list. page 144, there is a wiring harness for a Superior U,C. (Series V X) with stop light and tail lamp (No 821827). Is this the correct one for my car? I would also be grateful for as much advice/info on wiring the ignition switch & light switch. I need a new circuit breaker with wiring in. There is a fuse holder in the switch system - does anyone know what size the fuse is? I hope someone can help me resolve the problems and suggest where I could get the parts i need, as all my lights and ignition system have gone dead!
Oh, I also need (going by the master parts and price list page 140/144 again) Sup (No 351966) U.G.N lighting and switch with choke rod tube - Series K - M.R.V.X with ignition keys (No 361619). I need a source that is okay with shipping to the UK. Please help!
Terry
(Hope my interpretation of dad's request made sense - Thanks, Rachel)

I was quite pleased with the reproduction harness we received from Gary Wallace(St. Louis, Missouri) for the '26 Superior K, and it was reasonably priced as well. I'm not sure if he ships to the UK, but it is worth giving him a call. His telephone number is (314)293-1991 . If he doesn't have what you need, he'll tell you where you can get it.

Terry you might want to try these places as well. YNZ'S Yesterdays Parts
333 E. Stuart Ave. Unit A
Redlands, Ca. 92374
Phone# (909) 798-1498
I bought my wiring harness from them. It comes with original style cloth covering harness and new terminal ends. A wiring diagram to show how to hook up to back of headlight/ignition switch. They also included an electrical specification sheet. ie ignition, starter & generator. All for $165 back in May of last year.

You can also try Rhode Island Wiring Services. Here's their web address.http://www.riwire.com/

Also try: The Filling Station Phone# (541) 258-2114 or on-line @ WWW.Fillingstation.com

And as others have stated, Gary Wallace is a very nice person to do bussiness with.

The fuse behind the light switch is 20amps.

Hope this helps.

Is the car RHD or LHD? Can make a big difference to cost when modifying a LHD item to RHD.

If RHD, there is a company in Australia that supplies superb quality repo harnesses called Vinwire. I fitted one to my 28 and it was incredible value for money.

Are you sure you need a new harness?

I've sent a private message which could help.
