Hi, I just found this picture of my grandfather. Can someone please confirm that this is a Landau? Can the year be determined, 1928 maybe?

Thanks!

It's a Landau, but I can't tell what year it is. I'd have to see the front. Maybe someone with a better eye than mine can help you on the year. It's a 27 or 28.

Hi,

That is a 1928 Landau as the 27 had a rear 1/4 window.

I agree the one in the picture is a '28 because the hood is longer than a '27, but this body was also available in 1927. There were two landaus that year. The one with the quarter window used the same body as the 4-door sedan. The "Imperial Landau" which was the same body as the one pictured was introduced later in the year and, like the cabriolet, had the lower roofline which was carried over into all the 1928 closed cars.
